History of Green Day |

| As all the bands, Green Day was started somewhere. Everything started when the 14 years old Billie Joe (guitar, vocal) and his friend Mike Dirnt (electric guitar) made the band called Sweet Children. After they had a drummer called Al Sobrante and the band had the new name Green Day. In 1989 the Californian Punks thought that their first song (1000 years) was very good.In the same year their made their first album called 1039 Smoothed out Slappy Hours with the Lookout Express. And after tey had a new drummer called Tr Cool (his full name is Frank Edwin Wright III.) In 1990 they continued the band and in 1992 they made a second album called Kerplunk. Later in 1994 they made the album Dookie. The 2 best song was Basket Case and When I come Around. 1995 they wanted to make another great album with the Insomniac but it wasn't very good. In 1996 they had a rest and wrote their songs. Not much later they made the Nimrod album. The fans say that this is the best album. There was a sad song in the album too which was in E.R. twice. After a bot later arrived the continuing of Nimrod which had the name of Warning in 2000. While they went to more concerts and had more fans. After in 2004 they made the American Idiot album for the their hate against politics. In the MTV music and video awards they got 7 awards with the American Idiot. | | |
